Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, a prominent Bangladeshi politician, passed away today at the age of 75. He was the vice-president of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami party and had been sentenced to death in 2013 for war crimes committed during the 1971 War of Independence.
